Why did MC website stop showing open box MacBook inventory ?

While MC used to let you search for open box MacBooks on the website, now you can't. MC seems to have switched all MacBooks to "buy-in-store"—so no online purchase or "18 minute pickup." Restricting all MacBooks like this also eliminated the ability to see open box inventory. It works for other open boxes, like PCs or monitors, just not MacBooks. Hoping it's a temporary BF bug.

So I have a second 2012 Mac Book Pro that I installed a new battery, 1TB SSD, and 16 GB of ram. I also updated the OS. I just bought a 2014 Mac Mini that I want to use as a server. I already have the 2012 Mac Book Pro set up as the server, but want to give it away to a friend and put the 1TB SSD in the Mac Mini. Can I swap out the SSD's since I already have the 2012 set up the way I want? Thank you.

I bought a LG monitor to go with my Mac Air lap top. The salesman handed me appropriate cables and bought wireless keyboard and mouse.

I can't get the monitor on. It says to click okay...nothing happens. I just need to call and ask a question.

Good thing I live close by, I will show up tomorrow and ask in person.

Phone numbers are critical in this day and age.

So I just bought a new MacBook from MC so I was expecting to see a 1 year limited warranty from Apple for it, but I checked the Macbook's setting and see only a few months left on the limited warranty, can someone explain why is this happening? Does Vendor Warranty means it's you guy's warranty or Apple's? I don't really understand what "Vendor Warranty, Parts: 1 Year Limited, Labor: 1 Year Limited" means, can someone help me understand it? I have an early 2008 Mac Pro and my ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB graphics card fan has stopped spinning for the most part. It’ll get hot then spin real fast and then the computer will often turn off and reboot. This happened after a power outage so I’m wondering if the problem could be the computer’s power supply or mother board. Any advice on how to diagnose would be helpful. I’ve already cleaned the power supply and the graphics card.

If you are coming from the world of Windows and are already comfortable with keyboard short cuts like Ctrl+C for Copy, Ctrl+V for Paste and Ctrl+X for Cut, then you’ll find that some keyboard short cuts in macOS are not far from what you are already used to. In fact, the Command key will likely be your next best friend. Sometimes it is on your keyboard simply as “cmd” or the icon ⌘. If you are rocking a Windows keyboard, which is fine - they work in macOS too, then the Command key is your Windows key. Pressing cmd+C is the same as copy in Windows. In fact, replace the Ctrl key with cmd in many cases will reproduce the same keyboard short cut as I am sure you already figured out for Pasting and Cutting.

One of my other all time favorite Commands is when you need to close a program that is just not responding, it happens in all software programs. In Windows, you may be used to Ctrl + Alt + Delete. In macOS you want to use cmd + opt + esc and this will bring up a window to close or force quit misbehaving applications. Cmd+Q is also good if you need to quit an app you are currently in.
