I just bought AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX v2, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit, Computer Build Bundle. The motherboard doesn't post no matter what I've tried. I've tried to unplug and replug everything. I've tried to switch ram slots. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking of returning the whole bundle back to Micro Center. Please advise. Thank you

Recently I bought the bundle that comes with 7800x3D, G.Skill flarex5 DDR5 32gb and the b650 motherboard listed above. After about a month of having the pc I would notice random freezes or crashes while i was gaming and had a browser open at the same time. A week or so after that the computer would just randomly turn off while i would be playing Valorant, Tarkov, or Rust. Its been happening for a few months now and I've tested multiple things that have led me to thinking its got to be this motherboard. Temps are fine on the GPU and CPU. Ive put in a different set of the corsair vengeance equivalent 2x16s ram and it still seemed to crash and I've also changed my voltage settings in my bios. I've updated my bios to F32D and that hasnt seem to work either. Recently i disconnected the 4 pin cpu connector and kept the 8 pin one in and that fixed the problem for a week then I started to crash again and it keeps happening frequently while gaming. Not sure what else to try I've seen on reddit numerous people are having problems with this motherboard and I just want to be able to game without my pc completely turning off as if the power went out. its not blue screen crashes it just straight turns off.

At that point I go to work, and my boss gives me another stick of ram as a Christmas present

fast forward, I get home, PC stops working. now, I've had issues with this PC not booting before but that was because I didn't read the mobo manual thoroughly and didn't realize the mobo prefers the 2nd channel to the 1st when putting in memory.

no such reading comprehension issue here, however. I've got the RAM in the preferred configuration for 2 sticks, A2/B2. I've changed *nothing* else about this build.

It doesn't work. I take out the 2nd stick of RAM in the B2 slot, the new one. Doesn't work.

I put the new stick in the A2 slot and put the old stick to the side. Nothing.

I don't know what's happening and am close to death. I just got on break for two weeks, and as such cannot bring the PC to my boss until January for him to check my work.

Please help. I really hope the motherboard isn't fuckdd because I didn't keep the box.

I rebuilt my gaming PC a couple weeks ago and based the new build off of a bundle that was on sale at Micro Center. Ever since rebuilding it, I've been having a very consistent problem with resuming from sleep mode. If the PC is asleep for longer than about 30 seconds (roughly - it seems to be about as long as it takes my monitors to fully enter standby mode), then the system will reboot as soon as I try to wake it up from sleep mode. It doesn't matter if I use the power button or just press a key on the keyboard - it will spin up the fans and turn on the LEDs, but about 1-2 full seconds later, the whole thing instantly clicks off, waits about another full second, and then boots up as if it had been force-shutdown. If I put it to sleep, but then wake it back up before all the monitors fully go to sleep, it will wake up just fine. It also resumes from Hibernate with no issues.

Here's a PC Parts Picker link to the current build as it is right now: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rVY4Bq

The only parts I kept from my old build were the SSDs (including the Windows 10 install). I made sure to install all applicable drivers when I first booted it up on the new build - GPU, chipset, network, the whole deal. I also updated the BIOS to the latest version, and that also did not fix the problem.

I'm running Windows 10 22H2. My Windows install is the same as my old build, but my old build did not have any problems at all resuming from sleep, so I don't think it has to do with the OS install.

I originally was using an MSI MAG A750GL power supply, but somebody on Discord suggested it may have just barely been enough for my build and I may have been hitting an overload protection at wake-up. I bought an 850W gold-rated PSU on Amazon to see if it would fix the issue, but the issue persists even after swapping to the more-powerful PSU.

I have all my old parts still, but they're old enough that the only thing I can swap out is the GPU with my old 2070 Super. The reboot-on-wake issue happens with the 2070 Super as well, so it isn't GPU-related as far as I can tell. I have tried each RAM stick by itself in the A2 slot to make sure it wasn't a bad RAM stick, but it happens with both of them individually. I also tried them in A1/B1 instead of A2/B2, and the problem still occurs.

Does anyone have any experience with this kind of issue, or what steps I should take next to continue troubleshooting? If I need to return any parts, I definitely want to do that sooner rather than later in case there is a limited return window on any of them.

Got the 9700 bundle with the g.skill memory. Plugged everything in and fired it up - cpu light comes on quickly then goes off, then the dram light comes on for 4 seconds, then everything shuts down. I tried flashing the bios (F32f, the latest) using q-flash and that process seems to have executed and finished, but the behavior hasn't changed. I've tried one stick of memory and moving it around and nothing changes. Is this board just bad?

Here's a video of what it does: https://imgur.com/a/9BlPQwF

Been building PC’s for many years but having trouble with this one. Got from MC an Asus x670e tuf gaming (bios upgraded to current, default settings), 32GB g-skill ram, AMD 7950x3d, and 1TB m.2. All together and running, but so very slow. Win11 install took couple of hours, with only the 1TB m.2 installed (no other drives) installing from USB3 thumb drive. Installed the basic drivers using armory crate, then ran Passmark Benchmark 11.1.

I’m getting a CPU Mark of 7075. Others running the same CPU on the same motherboard are getting a CPU Mark of 60721!!! Almost 10xdifference? Something very unhappy about this build, any ideas?

Hi all,

I recently purchased the components and began my first build. When I went to start up for the first time, the fans were spinning and the GPU LED came on, but I had no display signal to my monitor. After ensuring the monitor was on the right source for the chosen port, I tried again but still nothing. I noticed the DRAM LED was red, so I checked the memory connections to make sure they were fully seated. Even after trying with only one, in the A2 slot, I still had the same issue with no display and the lit DRAM indicator. I heard it can sometimes take a few minutes, but that did not work either. I checked all connections from the PSU to make sure they were fully connected. I checked the CPU pins and reseated it. I've also reset the CMOS but still no luck.

Any advice or things to check next would be greatly appreciated.

The motherboard is rev. 1.5

Link to the build; https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder-amd.aspx?load=ee10124e-3e4e-47bd-b0bb-39bb2d2a141a

I have a Ryzen 3700X paired with an X570 gaming edge motherboard and a MSI 4070TI Suprim. Out of nowhere a few days ago most games have been unplayable due to insane lag. My main game I play is Call of Duty BO6. Up until a few days ago I consistently have ran 144 fps and have never experienced a single FPS drop. Now My FPS will go from ~140 down to single digits and then fluxuate from the teens to 100. My CPU is running at nearly 100% and GPU seems to only hover around 50% usage. I've set everything to maximum perfomance settings to try and force it to pull from my GPU. I didn't download anything different. I tried lowering the VRAM in the game and all of my visual settings are set to about as low as they can. I ran MSI afterburner to watch it while I was playing to confirm the numbers. All drivers are up to date and I even tried rolling back and downloading an old driver only to have the same issue. I tried multiple games and am experiencing the same thing across multiple games. I can't help but think its something RAM related, but I was wondering if there was anything else I could try to fix this issue.

(Can include other parts if relevant).

after everything is connected the system powers on briefly flashing the CPU Diagnostic Light, and than staying solid on DRAM for approximately 2 Minutes and than restarts. With a google search I found someone having a similar issue but their fix did not work for me

Steps I've tried:
Testing Each stick in each slot
Flashing Bios F32e and F31 (most recent and most recent stable bios)
Re seating CPU (no bent pins)
booting without GPU Installed
clearing CMOS

I have posted threads on some other forum's and it's seeming like a dead motherboard

I built the pc a week ago, and after the build process, I attempted to turn the PC on with all my parts installed in the stock state, with no overclocking or settings changed. During this attempt to turn it on, I had my ddr5 G.skillz ram (F5-6000J3238F16GX2-FX5) installed in the 2 slots, A2 and B2, recommended on the motherboard manual(motherboard being a Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 Rev.1.0). At this time, the RGB light on the CPU cooler would not turn on, the CPU light turns on and then I get a DRAM red light on the motherboard, and the case fans turn on. It would stay on for roughly 45-60 seconds, and then shut off afterwards and restart. After that happened, I turned off the computer and removed both ram cards, and only put one in the A2 slot. Same result, and neither RAM card worked here. I then took it out and put 1 card in the B2 slot, and upon turning the computer on again, the computer booted normally to the Bios menu. I was able to see that there was 1 ram card installed in the B2 slot in the Bios and all other typical information. I swapped the ram cards to test that both ram cards work in the B2 slot, and they did(booted to Bios and worked). I tried all configurations on the motherboard, A1 and B1, A2 and B2, A1 and B2 etc. Nothing worked other than B2 slot alone. I also tried this with my GPU in the system and GPU out of the system. I have no cable sleeves as well. Took out the CMOS battery and put it back in after 10 minutes too. The Bios on the motherboard has been flashed to be the latest version as well. Tested with it flashed and not flashed.

Parts used:

Amd Ryzen 7 7700x.

Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 Rev.1.0G.skillz ram (F5-6000J3238F16GX2-FX5)Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 4070 Super

CPU cooler - XSPC RayStorm Edge CPU Water Block, AMD/AM4, Addessable RGB

Black PSU - Seasonic Focus SGX-750
