With the demise of Fry's in Austin, the options for the markets that it and Micro Center serves mean that potential customers need to travel to either Dallas or Houston. Even though we measure distances in Texas in terms of hours and not miles, having a Micro Center in the Southwest's version of Silicon Valley would seem a no-brainer. There seems like a great opportunity for expansion to Austin. When is it going to happen?

Does Micro Center currently offer an official public API for accessing product data, pricing, inventory availability, or store-specific stock levels?

I’m working on a personal project and would like to know if there is a supported way to retrieve this information programmatically instead of scraping the website.

If there is no public API available, is there any recommended alternative, partner program, or documentation for developers?

For the LOVE of ALL that is in this universe… PLEASE come and SAVE US from this hellish wasteland - barren of ANY worthy electronics store - that is Omaha, Nebraska. You can NEVER find anything you need here. There are far too many restaurants and, even worse, Best Buys here. (I HATE those guys and they never have what you need.)

Omaha is large enough to more than warrant a location here. The Omaha Metropolitan Area is rapidly expanding it's footprints of DATA CENTERS. We are now known as "The Silicon Prairie" for a reason. We have Amazon, Facebook and several Google data centers here. (One of which I work in.)

Have you guys ANY IDEA just how many of us nerds here are DYING to have a Microcenter here? 😭

I would like to suggest Huntsville AL for a new store location. We have a pretty tech-savvy town here with little options in terms of electronics stores. We are heavily growing with like the country's third highest technical workforce. Companies are swarming in.

Ever since I got into PC building, I’ve wanted to just go somewhere and locally find components. Sadly, there are no good PC stores or Micro Centers in the entirety of Louisiana that fellow PC builders, like myself, and general tech enthusiasts can visit. At one point, however, we had a place called PC Zone, but that company is now gone. I was just hoping we could get a Micro Center in the general New Orleans or Baton Rouge area. It would make many PC builder’s hobbies in Louisiana a lot easier.

I'm curious to know what everyone got from us at Micro Center, whether receiving it as a gift or buying it for someone else.

Being a MC associate, naturally some of my gifts came from my store. I gave a KBDCraft Adam, a Razer Cobra, and a nifty little HAVIT Massage Gun to some relatives. The KBDCraft Adam was by far my favorite to give, and the person I gave it to absolutely loved it. I don't have much more room for an additional keyboard, but if I did I would add it to my collection. Gonna be buying one of those massage guns for myself after seeing my brother use his.

I live in Miami, FL and the nearest Micro Center is 14 hours away in Marietta, GA. We need one desperately down here as all we have that passes for a computer store is Best Buy. We used to have Tiger Direct but they were bought out by PC Mall and are no longer brick-and-mortar. Florida is a very long state and we could use one in Miami and another in Orlando.

I think that you should build a Micro Center In Omaha, Nebraska because of these reasons: 1. The only place to get parts for computers in Omaha Is Best Buy and they only have 3 kinds of GPU's. 2. I know that a lot of people will go there to get pc parts, tech repair, etc. 3. I wish there was a micro center here in Vegas, made an account here just to post this but ever since Fry's closed, the only stores that sell electronics are Best Buy, Walmart and Target. And those kinda suck in terms of selection. Micro Center would probably get a lot of business from people in conventions here in Vegas, especially if the higher ups bought the old Fry's building near South Las Vegas Blvd and the 215 Beltway. Also there's virtually no shops that sell Raspberry Pis locally in Vegas ever since Fry's closed. Also another idea for a location in Vegas is near Eldorado High School because there's a lot of tech related startups that are going to be there.

Hey I know this is a long shot and I doubt this will even question will be put in the right hands but here It goes anyway. My name's Javen. I'm 16 and from a city In Indiana called Fort Wayne. I keep seeing videos on Youtube where all these creators and gamers are able to easily get good priced pc parts, professional help, and more. And to come to think of it, we don't really have anything like it besides maybe Walmart If you can even count that lol. Everybody from there dads and uncles (Literally) that I know have gaming computers. A Lot of them were built themselves. Even our Facebook computer parts sell and trades groups are filled with thousands of PC Gamers. But we're all forced to shop online for these things when It could be so much better for It to be readily available. Everybody and their mom would be in a micro-center when they're getting ready to build a pc or upgraded their setup. And I might be young but I know a little about business. One key aspect of profiting Is Supply & Demand, We don't have any options so If we were to have a Microcenter then that would be the go to for everybody In your target audience because well not only because we would have one of the best options but also the microcenter would be the only option. But these are just a few conclusions I've came to. I think It would be really cool to have a microcenter in town. I feel like It would be the perfect place to put your next microcenter. We have multiple large scale buildings just sitting unused ready to be bought out. But this Is just something that had came across my mind. I hope this lands in the right hands. -javen

Would anyone be aware if there are any plans to expand into some of the lesser covered areas in the Midwest? For example, in my home state of Wisconsin there's a huge market for tech in the Madison and La Crosse areas. Madison in particular has a fast-growing tech industry and would honestly be a great location for a store. Would there be any avenue on how to get into contact with someone about this? Or perhaps a petition or poll to gauge interest?

Hi, I was wondering if a micro center in Upstate New York would be possible? Specifically Rochester or nearby if possible!! I'd really love that as I really want to go to micro center but the closest one is a 6 hour drive and don't think I have the money to fly just to experience it. I feel like New York would be a good place for one too, cause Best Buy (probably the closest thing to micro center in Rochester) has a lot of activity usually, so a micro center would be really nice!!

For the past four years, I've left countless messages on LinkedIn and in what I thought were the correct forums here, but apparently I'm not important enough to merit a reply. And of course there is NO link to send feedback or otherwise contact MicroCenter because big greedy corporations don't want their "consumers"--no longer called their "customers"--to contact them directly.

Why don't you people have a store in Pittsburgh? It's the #3 tech capital in the U.S. and the a medical-research hot spot, too. It's home to Carnegie Mellon and other fabulous schools. The nearest store to us is in Mayfield, OH... two hours away! You don't like shipping items, so as a result, I have made only one (large) purchase as I was passing through Mayfield on the way home from vacation in 2018. It was a pleasant experience, but I'm not driving that far when I have Newegg and Amazon at my fingertips. I would much prefer to support my local MicroCenter, but I suppose that will never happen. It makes absolutely zero business sense not to have a Pittsburgh location.

Does anyone there give enough to get my message to someone important?

The monitor that I bought was a 240hz monitor and it my fist time checking and it only goes goes up to 144hz so idk what to do. The location that I went to was in tustin CA

As someone who has been around technology for 26 years, Charleston, SC is in desperate need of a Micro Center. Here are some great reasons that Micro Center should thoroughly investigate building a store in Charleston, SC:

Competition is very slim in Charleston (Best Buy is the only competition and it’s severely lacking).

Charleston has a big gamer presence and is desperately craving competitive prices with great selections.

Charleston is home to major manufacturers and employee thousands:

-Boeing Aerospace: Employees 7,000 people located in North Charleston.
-Volvo Car US Operations: Employees 3,300 people located in Ridgeville.
-Robert Bosch, LLC, Automotive Group: Employees 2,200 people located in Nothing Charleston.

Charleston, SC is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. As the population continues to grow, property value will not only continue rise, but will become harder to obtain.

The closest Micro Center to Charleston, SC is roughly 330 miles. This on average is a 4 hour trip, thus making a Charleston. SC location non-competitive to itself.

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2

Has anyone else been playing Space Marine 2? My friends and I have been waiting for it to come out for a few years now. It is a really fun game so far! I enjoyed the storyline a lot. The other two multiplayer modes are no slouch either! There are some issues for some people with connection issues and I've seen a couple of physics engine issues too. Hopefully those get fixed soon!
