Could you return a GPU that have 2 years replacement plan to buy another one better?

I bought a RX 590 graphic card with 2 years replacement plan about a year ago. It still working normally, but it is not powerful enough for current modern games. Could I return it and buy the other one better? It sounds not quite right, but when I buy this card, the seller said If I get the 2 years replacement plan, I probably can return it any time even if it is not fail. Is that true guys?

I do apologize, the replacement plans are to cover hardware issues / failures, it is not considered an upgrade plan, it is meant to be insurance in case something happens to the video card. thank you for the confirmation. I just feel a little annoying on how they use incorrect information to persuade me to buy the replacement plan. but it is fine any way.
