I have a PowerSpec that I need a bios update for, I believe. After trying everything else first, this is my last resort. I just joined this community to get this bios. I don't want to make this public, nor can I put any other information here if it is public for security reasons I wish not to explain please.

I have the receipt for the computer, and it is my second PowerSpec, but this one has been fighting me since day one in August of 2025 when I purchased it. After several reinstalls and only 5 dedicated programs on the computer that I can't fully use because Windows seems to load differently every time and change its administrative/security behaviour preventing my full usage.

I can only think after months of hardware and software tests, removals, and reinstalls that a last resort must be a bios issue, other than a possible motherboard or hard drive in slow failure mode that isn't detectable from normal testing. I don't have a wait and see approach mindset with this, so a bios approach would help please.

I am in my 3rd straight month with 4 different company support teams pulling their hair out about this one. One even telling me they haven't seen this level of issues in their 17 years of software development. One of these companies is the biggest in their field in the world and they can't figure out what is going on here either. Half of their modules are scanning and loading incorrectly because of system32.dll failures, over and over. Dozens of times in tests all day, 7 days a week for the last 8 months now.

Now my 4 attached usb ports are getting dropouts and even getting kicked offline until a boot can put them back online, that is, if the next reboot loads all the needed things and are ready for action. Those attached items are configured for the programs and the processes I need to do, so those dropouts and kicked offline issues are making a real issue way worse. It has even ruined saves of projects. I have around 100 projects that I worked on between January and May of this year until the boot issues got compounded. Immediately I couldn't open a single one of those projects because suddenly multiple system32 tasks weren't working with the programs and causing multiple types of failures.

It took 3 months of support teams and tests, including removals of single modules to isolate issues to see what could be the issue, and yet no one can figure out what is really causing this gigantic amount of problems. No malware. No signs of bad software in any of the programs the plugins. Out of the 4 attached hardware, one is a security device for the software, one is an external drive, one is an OWC hub, and a dedicated software controller with my main software program.

My setup is super simple. Shouldn't be having problems like this. I can send you all of the personal information required for a bios, but I can't post it publicly for security reasons please. Thank you PB1
