I saw your post regarding WD SN 5000 2TB. My situation is using a Sonnet M.2 8x4 PCIe 4 card that can hold up to 8 NVME modules. I purchased 8 WD SN 5000 4TB modules. This Sonnet card can work in either a PC or Mac Pro, or in an external thunderbolt chassis. I am trying to use this in a 2019 MacPro. I installed 4 NVME modules in the first bank of 4, and the Mac can only see 2 of the 4TB modules. I am wondering if a firmware update on the WD SN 5000 4TB would solve this problem, if indeed there is such a firmware update.
Thanks for your help.
