This article details how to collect ReadyView system logs.
The ReadyView has a Web user interface. At this time, only the device reset and log gathering are supported through this interface.
To gather/collect the device logs, please follow the steps below:
- To access the web interface, the device's IP address will need to identified. The device does not have a NetBIOS name. The router table should list the attached devices and show the IP address. The device MAC address should also be shown which will help verify the device.
- Enter https://{NVR IP Address} into the browser's URL field
- Authenticate with the admin username and password
- Click Setup in the top bar
- Click Maintenance in the left pane
- Click Log Query in the drop-down
- Select the Start Time
- Select the End Time
- Use the default Main type: All Types
- Click the Query button
- Click the Export button
- Save the file
