The WD ReadyView system has a simple 4-step set-up process. Please follow the steps below:
To setup the initial NVR
- Connect the short Ethernet cable to your router, 4 cameras to the longer Ethernet cables, and connect those longer Ethernet cables to the the PoE Ethernet ports on the back of the NVR. It is recommended to use the ports in order, starting with 1 (e.g. 1 through 4).
- Connect the power adapter to the NVR and a power source.
