In this guide, we'll go over how to extend the ESET expiration date using an additional ESET license. This process is repeatable for up to 5 years in total time.
Here is how to do this:
1. Click the Start button, typically found at the lower-left corner of the screen, from the list of programs in alphabetical order. Locate ESET from the list of applications and click on it to open the ESET folder. From here, click on ESET Security.
2. From the Home window of ESET, you can see your current license validity date.
Select Help & Support on the left side of the ESET main product window.
3. Click on Change License.
4. Click on Use a purchased License key.
5. Now, you will need to type or paste the license key previously emailed to you and then select Continue. Enter in the license key with all letters, numbers, and dashes.
6. Once the key is entered, this will then cause a popup asking to allow ESET to make changes, click on Yes on this message.
7. Now, you will see a registration page that will need to be filled out for ESET. There is a scrollbar on the right side. The form will need First name, Last name, Phone, Email, Confirm Email, Address 1 (street address), City, Zip, State. The only 2 options that do not need to be filled out are Company and Address 2.
You may need to scroll down to fill in all information boxes needed for registration.
8. The next window will show that ESET will be activated. Select Activate.
You should then see "Activation was successful."
Select Done, and now ESET has been extended.
9. The new license validity (expiration date) will appear on the home screen of ESET.
