Here we will guide you through the process of adding an additional language keyboard layout or language pack to your Windows 11 PC. This can be particularly helpful if you frequently work with multiple languages or need to accommodate different keyboard layouts or language settings. By following the steps outlined here, you'll be able to easily switch between multiple language configurations and tailor your Windows 11 experience to suit your needs.
Here is how to do this:
First, Right-click on the Start button, typically found at the bottom of the screen, then click on Settings.
From the settings page that appears, click on Time & language.
Click on Language & region.
Click on Add a Language next to Preferred Languages.
From the list of options, click on or search for the language you'd like to install and click on Next.
Windows will show what needs to be installed to add your language selection, and here you can also toggle on “Set as my Windows display language” to change the default language overall on your computer.
Click on Install and Windows will automatically return you to the main settings screen while it downloads the necessary files to add the new language pack to your PC.
Once completed, now your computer will show it as an available language pack in your Settings menu.
