With Windows 10 support ending on October 14, 2025, it is recommended that you consider upgrading to Windows 11 to ensure your system continues to run smoothly. Since you've already purchased a copy of Windows 10, Microsoft offers several ways to upgrade to Windows 11.
Using Windows Updates
If you’re using Windows 10, you can easily check if your PC is ready for Windows 11. Just open your Settings menu, go to Windows Update, and click Check for Updates. Windows will let you know if your computer is eligible, and if it is, you’ll be given the option to upgrade to Windows 11.

Windows 11 Installation Assistant
The Windows 11 Installation Assistant makes upgrading quick and simple. It automatically downloads Windows 11 and updates your current version of Windows, so you don’t lose your files or settings. Before you begin, just make sure your PC meets the Windows 11 requirements.

Create Windows 11 Installation Media
With the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool, you can create installation media on a USB flash drive or DVD. This gives you two options: you can do a fresh, clean install of Windows 11 (which removes all files and starts from scratch), or you can upgrade your current version of Windows while keeping your files.
