The following plans are through Micro Center not Apple. All plans listed below include free technical support through Micro Center for the length of the plan. Support available via chat, text, email or phone. Benefits include support for:
- Setup and installation
- Virus and malware removal
- Internal network card issues
- Configuration and system errors
- System restore and recovery (excluding data recovery)
- Basic troubleshooting
All plans listed below also include the following services that can be performed in-store at Micro Center by our Service dept:
- 1 free Operating System Reimage
- 1 free Virus Removal (eligible with an active up-to-date version of Eset CyberSecurity or CyberSecurity Pro installed on the computer)
Protection plans for iMac, Mac Mini and MacPro:
· 3-year protection plan without ADH: starts at the date of purchase of the product and only covers the internal components of the covered product. Includes free technical support from Micro Center during the plan timeframe (via phone, text, chat or email). Customer is responsible for getting the covered product to their local Micro Center store if repair is needed.
· 2-year or 3-year protection plan with ADH: starts at the date of purchase of the product and covers the internal components of the covered product while also adding accidental damage coverage for drops, spills, etc. Includes free technical support from Micro Center during the plan timeframe (via phone, text, chat or email). · International Coverage: a supplemental plan that the customer can purchase as an add-on to a repair plan. It costs an additional $59.99 and allows for reimbursement of repairs done outside of the United States.
