What is the return policy? - Micro Center

However, if you need help or need to return an item, we’re here for you!</p><p>If an item you have purchased from us is not working as expected within the return period, please visit one of our in-store Expert Technicians for free help, where they can solve your problem or even exchange the item for a product that better suits your needs. In fact, everyone is welcome to visit our Knowledge Bar for a free 10-minute tech consultation. Our doors are always open to assist you in finding solutions no matter where you purchased the item.</p><p>If you need to return or exchange an item, simply bring it back to any Micro Center store for a full refund or exchange. Most products may be returned within 30 days, excluding desktop/notebook computers, tablets, processors, motherboards, projectors, 3D printers, and 3D scanners which may be returned within 15 days of purchase.</p><p>*In accordance with our return policy, and if you have provided us with valid contact information.</p><p><br></p><h2 data-id="products-not-eligible-for-return">Products not eligible for return</h2><ul><li>Opened software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Windows Server clients</li><li>Electronic software downloads</li><li>Point of Sale Activation Cards that have a dollar value</li><li>Micro Center Gift Cards (except as required by law)</li><li>Products with customer-induced damage such as, but not limited to, aerial drones with damage due to pilot error.
