Go to office.com/setup and sign in using a Microsoft account. Put in the office product key. Once downloaded the setup process should begin automatically. Please see our article How to install Office for more details. Q: Do I need a Microsoft Account to install Microsoft Office 365?A: Yes. Microsoft Accounts are free and can be assigned to any existing email address, or you can sign up for a new email address from Microsoft if you need one.Q: What if my license key isn’t accepted on the Microsoft Office setup website?A: First, make sure the code is entered correctly. To help with this, take a damp cloth to wipe any remaining silver foil from the code. Then carefully enter each letter or number. The hyphens should be entered for you automatically.Q: What if Word or Excel say that my subscription is about to end after I installed Microsoft Office 365?A: Sometimes new computers come with a trial version of some Office applications. To make sure your subscription is linked to any existing installed applications, sign in with your Microsoft Account.
