Replace cable modem
I am a cablevision customer in the Rocky Point area. I am looking to replace my cable modem and possibly router with one I purchase myself. My service is extremely slow and streaming is constantly interrupted with buffering. I am looking for a modem that is also landline capable and compatable with Cablevisions requirements. Can you recommend one?

We're going to have limited options for modems with telephony in general. I would contact Cablevision for a list of compatible modems. I tend to stick with Arris since they're such a larger provider of OEM equipment for most ISP's.
