Is there a way to stop Node Center from controlling the CPU/GPU usage? My laptop is Vector Pro 2.
I currently have a battery problem which prevents the Vector Pro 2 from reflecting the true battery percent (I have tried reinstalling all the battery drivers). Because of this, I am assuming that the computer does not want to use the CPU properly / at high performance. It only runs games at ~15% CPU usage, which is…

My Vector Pro 2 laptop remains at 0% battery and also shuts down/restarts randomly
I am having trouble with my laptop. While plugged in, it stays at 0% and rarely it charges. If it does charge and the random restart occurs, the battery goes back to 0. I looked at the reliability history and found that the node center GSCservice was crashing around the same time as my crashes. I was wondering if anyone…

Hi! I first bought a Powerspec G517 a month ago and was having issues with getting past the Windows initial boot up prompts. Grounding question?
I have seen the grounding socket plugs, but I was wondering if there was an alternative way to ground my wrist strap and ESD mat. could I just connect the alligator pins to a piece of metal sitting on the ground (ex: a dumbell) or does the piece of metal have to involve something that is plugged in?

What gloves to wear when dissasembling a laptop and touching the battery?
Recently I have been searching the safety procedures for disassembling a laptop. I learned that nitrile ESD gloves might be useful.
