Why my laptop screen stays black and can't be viewed?
My laptop screen stays black even when starting up which means I can't see anything on my monitor clearly. The only workaround I had was to use an external monitor to see the screen. In addition, if I tilt the screen occasionally, my laptop screen will work and then turn black again after a minute. I was told this is potentially an issue with the laptop's RAM card. Is it also a graphics card issue as well? Please let me know the best and quickest way to rectify this issue. I will be starting a fully remote role at the beginning of January and I don't want to have screen issues with my laptop prior to starting work with my new employer.

Hello! If you are able to see the image perfectly fine when plugged into an external monitor this is likely an issue with the screen on the laptop itself. I highly recommend bringing your device in store for screen replacement!
