Digital Photography

Hi - I have built computers in the past over the last 30 years (starting with an intel 286!) but the technology has got away from me and I deperately need to get a new platform for my photography. I have done a lot of reading and read the Adobe platform guidlines and come up with the following machine. Can someone that has…

So right before I went to sleep last night, Canon decided to announce their new APSC sensored mirrorless camera's and I'm super excited. I've been shooting with a Canon t5i for the last 4 years or so and I've been needing an upgrade but I wasn't really fully committed to going with the full frame mirrorless camera's yet…

So my Pinnacle program keeps freezing up on my current desktop.I have Windows 10. Do I need a better video card to make it work better and if so what kind should I get? Be kind, I'm new to this. :) I would actually like to build one but don't know what I need except for lots of memory. I have over a Terabyte of photos.

I love the classic style of this camera, especially with all the colorways. The tilty-flippy screen. Physical setting dials. 4K video. 20.9-megapixel DX sensor. This camera has a lot going for it! What are your thoughts? Is Nikon approaching this category a bit late? Is it right on time?

I am currently a subscriber to the adobe creative cloud and I am possibly looking to move to something that doesn't charge a monthly fee. I have heard capture one is an amazing alternative. If anyone has ever tried it, I am curious to know your thoughts on it!
