Any new Windows laptops available/compatible with S3 Sleep Mode?
Linus Tech Tips seems to indicate that most Windows laptops now have S0 ("Windows Modern Standby", always on) Sleep Mode as the default and can't change to S3, so laptop sleep will likely run the battery to 0% and leave it feeling hot in your backpack (processor and network connections still running in S0 Sleep).

Does opening up my laptop void my warranty?
I opened up my ASUS laptop to insert a single stick of RAM in, and in the process I believe I accidentally damaged my headphone jack as it no longer streams audio. Aside from inserting the RAM, I did not otherwise modify the laptop. I know this more than likely voided my manufacturer's warranty, but I also purchased…

ASUS ZenBook Pro 17
I am a new owner of an ASUS ZenBook Pro 17 17.3" laptop and am incredibly satisfied.
