Intel 13th gen issues

Hi,

I bought a PowerSpec G472 Gaming PC with Intel Core i9 13th Gen 13900KF, and I experience crashing I assumed was a memory issue; I gather that instead Intel made a mistake and is having voltage issues with the processor and said we should work with the company we purchased from to extend the warranty. How do we make sure our Intel warranties are taken care of, especially since my warranty is running out with Microcenter in 7 days?

Hello! For PowerSpecs with processors affected by this issue, we will be extending the warranty to match Intel's for the processors only. If you processor is experiencing any issues I recommend bringing this in store for our technicians to take a look at. Our lab is also working on releasing BIOS updates to address some of these problems as well. Your computer has the MSI Pro Z690-A DDR5. You can find the updated BIOS with Intel Default power limits below. The BIOS with the 0x129 microcode to permanently address the issue is under memory testing now while we wait on the customized BIOS from MSI. I expect we'll have it early next week at the latest.
