Powerspec g478 not waking from sleep mode

Whenever my pc enters sleep mode, either manually or from inactivity I cannot turn my pc back on.

It remains on a black screen and the only way to turn it back on is to fully turn off my pc and turn it back on.

Any idea how to fix this issue?

Hello! I am very sorry to hear that your computer is not working as intended. Is any progress saved when you press the power button to turn it on? Might just be going into hibernate rather than sleep Try some of these steps:

1. Go to 'Edit power plan' within the control panel.
2. Select 'Change advance power settings'.
3. Scroll down to 'Allow hybrid sleep' and turn it off
4. Scroll down to 'USB Settings' and disable selective suspending.
5. Scroll down to 'PCI Express' and turn off link state power management.
6. Apply and save the changes.
7. Reboot your computer and check if sleep works properly.

If this does not work, you may need to check your BIOS. Boot into the BIOS, swap to Advanced mode by clicking the option for it, or pressing the key assigned (Typically one of F5-F8), Find "Resume by USB Device" under Settings>Advanced>Wake Up Event Setup and enable it. Press F10 to save the BIOS setting changes and exit BIOS then try it again.
