Should i upgrade or just out right build a new pc

Hey, I know people would just say to get a new pc, but I want to know if I could save money by upgrading my pc or if upgrading my pc would just be close to the same price as getting parts for a whole new pc.

CPU: Intel Core I7-4770 CPU 3.40 GHz

GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600
RAM:32 GB DDR3

Motherboard: 18E7 Hewlett-Packard

Storage: Hitachi HUA723020ALA641 ATA Device 2TB HDD

I know these are old components, so don't tell me that because I know, this is an HP Prebuild.

I would invest in a new case and components. Doesn't need to be expensive and don't go super cheap either. The best thing you will benefit from when starting a new build, having a case that matches standards instead of proprietary like HP. Most folks will steer towards an AMD CPU/MoBo combo. That is fine. I went cheap Intel 12th gen 6 months ago. Either scenario should use 32GB or more DDR5 6000 RAM and a matching motherboard.

For the hard drive, an NvME M.2 of at least 2TB is more than sufficient, Samsung has a pretty good endurance on those, just my preference and experience.

Seeing that you didn't list a dedicated GPU, would I assume you don't need one? Unless you are into high-end gaming/simulations or AI content, it is not needed.
