First Time build, struggling to decide on parts

I am coming from a ps4 looking to get into a PC. I will be using it for both school/work and gaming (COD, Rocket League). My budget is around 850-950 USD before OS and other peripherals. Any suggestions I can get on parts would be much appreciated.

No monitors for now although any suggestions I’m open to. No content creation just gaming with friends!
