Question about Compatibility
I’m new to PC building and I’m learning as I go, but I just bought a Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard, and I was wondering will the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor be compatible with that motherboard? I’ve tried to do some research on it but I keep running into something about doing a BIOS update and I’ve been seeing mixed answers that the processor does/doesn’t support the BIOS update. I just wanna to get my question answered before buying the processor.

If you're asking if it'll boot out of the box without a BIOS update the answer is yes, generally. The F40 BIOS they reference dates back to May of 2019.
