They both have the same processor although the Maingear one has a 2060 Max-P and the Acer has a 2070 Max-Q.

Both are very solid laptops, it really depends what you're looking to spend. The Maingear is $300 cheaper but it is a slight downgrade in just its video card. The maingear is for sure a great bang for your buck while the Acer has a better video card which will be better for gaming.
