I would like to know if the holiday return policy apply to the CPU/motherboard purchase?

All products purchased between 11/02/20 - 12/24/20 will be eligible for return until 1/15/21

Yes, CPUs and Motherboards qualify for the holiday return period. You have until Jan 15th to return or exchange them. The only exception would be the Microsoft Surface products.
