Keyboard not working after spilled water
Please forgive the nature of this basic question, but... My kid spilled a little bit of water on my keyboard and the space bar stopped working. Can it be fixed at a reasonable cost (or fixed at all?), or am I better off buying a new keyboard?
I would rather fix it as it was a fairly expensive keyboard and cash is tight this year...
Thank you for any advice!

Greetings. Are you referring to a laptop keyboard or a standalone keyboard?hannah1346 said:Please forgive the nature of this basic question, but... Hello @hannah1346
When it comes to water damage, you will actually be how surprised how durable and water resistant electronics can be. I highly recommend letting your keyboard dry out for an extended amount of time, something like a week or two and make sure you do not plug it in. The issue with wet electronics is when there is electricity running through it, especially when wet.
Here is a pretty cool video from Linus Tech Tips washing a lot of gaming keyboards through a dishwasher and seeing them work after letting them dry for 2 weeks;
