Artifacts ingame,
but only visible in windowed and alt tabbing, but it also restrics what res i can play on, is this my gpu dying after 4 years or somthing else?

It's possible that this could be due to the age of your GPU. What kind of temps are you getting from your GPU while it is under load?
I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling your GPU drivers. I'll link instructions on how to easily do this below.
