I just got my 3060 recently and was about return it. My VGA light on my Asus board kept coming on at random times and my monitor would never fully enter power save mode, it would go black but stay on with white lite around the edges. I finally bought a good DP cable 'Vesa Certified' and all my issues are solved.

Good reminder!
I personally have spare cables for my monitors as well.
You never know what may seem like a big issue at the start can end up being fixed with just a cable swap!
