My budget: is less than $100. I have a Dell Inspiron I7-5500U Laptop, and I need a webcam for it.

Can I get something internal or do I have to stick to an external webcam?

Greetings, we don't sell internal webcams for laptops.
I would look into getting a webcam that can easily be flexed into place over a laptop/monitor such as https://www.microcenter.com/product/602497/logitech-c920s-pro-hd-webcam-black?storeid=029
