Do I need to reinstall windows?
So I have i7 9700k and I want to swap over to Ryzen, I want a 5900x, I was just wondering if I need to reinstall windows 10 when swapping platforms or am I okay to just swap without having to reinstall anything

The installation of Windows 10 is on your storage device, so as long as that same storage drive is active on your new motherboard, it shouldn't have any problem reading the operating system from it. The brand of the processor won't affect the storage device.
