Z690 Maximus Hero open box being sold with defective capacitor, potential fire hazard
I purchased a Z690 Maximus Hero open box today, only to discover that it is one of the faulty ones that is a fire hazard. I've contacted ASUS and they have agreed to take it in for repair, but Micro Center really shouldn't be selling these like that. Now I'm potentially going to wait like a month to get this resolved.
I have physically verified that the capacitor in question IS inverted, so this is not a repaired board.
