My friend is getting a evga 3080 ftw 3 & has a sentey 750w bronze 80 psu is that good enough still?
His PSU is from 2014, is his model fine to power a 3080?
I recommend for him to get an 850w, when I got my 3080 and a 750w it was not able to keep power to my gpu.

Greetings. EVGA lists 750W as the recommended power supply. The main thing you'd need to check from a power supply from a few years ago is that it has 3 PCI 8-pin connectors available to properly power the card.
