I have a HP Pavilion Elite e9220y from 2009 or so, is it worth upgrading?

Greetings,
You're going to have a hard time finding parts without changing about everything in the PC. Simply put, a new/currently sold processor is going to need a matching motherboard and matching RAM. It would be easier and much simpler to just look into buying a currently sold PC.

Thanks for reply, I figured mostly a total rebuild. Partly interested in the challenge(haven't done that before).
