I just built my third computer and it doesnt boot
any idea how i can trouble shoot this because i have tried everything i can think off and nothing happens. The motherboard rgb lights up but nothing else turns on when the power button is held down.

hi thanks for responding, im using a ryzen 5 5600x and a b550 pro 4 motherboard but the motherboard should be updated for the 5000 series as it has the sticker on the front and i flash biosd it

Normally to do a bio update for this you would need to have a older processor to us in the system so it can load the new bios. when you did the update did you use an older 3000 series processor? also for this what are you using for a video card in the computer?

nope, i used the same processor. the gpu is an rtx 3060 and im pretty sure its not an issue with the cpu not being recognized because the last time i had this problem and had to update my bios there was an error light lit for cpu while on this computer no error lights are lit
