Support for HDD purchased in Feb 2023
I purchased the Toshiba X300 CMR drive (firmware v0603) in Feb 2023 and had a recent BSOD; computer restarted before I had a chance to read/write-down the issue. Ran a bunch of diagnostics and everything on the PC checks out so far, except the hard drive. Ran Toshiba's "Storage diagnostic tool" & got a test status of "FAIL (11-4906)". I tried looking up the error code online & in the diagnostic's manual but couldn't find this error code. Does anyone know what the error code means? This drive shouldn't be failing already!
