USB remains live when PC is shut off on Powerspec G522
Hi,
I contacted tech support on Sat about this issue, but their solution did not help.
I recently set up my G522, and noticed that the mouse remains on even when the PC is shut down. The cust rep in tech support said to change the DEEP SLEEP setting in UEFI→ Advanced to "enabled in S5". This did not help.
Can you suggest a solution to this?
Please note that I have the mouse plugged into a rear USB 2.X receptacle.
Are there perhaps certain specific USB receptacles that intentionally always remain live?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

That's correct, also known as ErP. Problem is with Windows 10/11 it doesn't really go into S5 when you shutdown. Either set it to S4 + S5. Or disable fast startup in Windows, which will actually let the system go into S5 when it shuts down.

Thanks.
I disabled Fast startup and that took care of it.
