  • So right off the bat, I'd consider the 9800x3d as it's only a little more with everything else you're wanting to get. Also might I suggest focusing on the system and worrying about the peripherals and accessories later, unless that was to give an idea of what you'll need for everything after the system is built.

I've been considering a 9070 XT build. Maybe you can give your thoughts on this build:

I would probably change to a 9800x3d, otherwise I wouldn't be practicing what I preach right. I just wanted to look at it would be with a 7800x3d.

  • AMD - Ryzen 7 7800X3D - $270
    AMD - Ryzen 7 9800X3D - $410
    (with bundle discounts)

I'd say that's a significant enough jump in price. Depends on what OP's budgets and goals are though. Oh but then I just saw there build total was over 3k. So yeah maybe considering that $140 for a better CPU is not a large jump. I agree thought, get the core components, go all in on that as much as you can and worry about peripherals later.

    Thanks for responding. I figured
going with the 9800x3d would make more sense long term.

Did you check out my 9070 XT build? It was a little over $2000
