PowerSpec Newbie - Lots of Questions ...

Hi All,

I'm setting up a brand new PowerSpec 455 and I can't find some basic info.

1) How can I create a system recovery USB drive? Windows 11 only wants to create a CD/DVD, and Windows "Create a Recovery Drive" creates a generic Win 11 recovery drive - NOT a PowerSpec 455 recovery drive.

2) How is everyone creating an image of their new PowerSpec PC? I used the Windows 11 Create a System Image feature, but without the recovery USB drive (point 1 above), that's useless.

3) How does one boot to setup / bios on this machine? I tried booting while holding Delete, F2, and F11. No joy.

4) How can I disable the fan LEDs? Is this a bios function (I can't get to bios yet) or is there some PowerSpec software I don't know about.

5) Anything else I should know about this PC?

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

    1. It is based on the WinRE.wim file in the system, which we customize in our master and scanstate with customized files for the individual system.
    2. Recoverydrive.exe. Alternates would be a system image backup with a software like Acronis.
    3. Delete to enter BIOS, F11 for boot menu. If you're having issues accessing it you can do from elevated command prompt: shutdown /r /fw /t 00
    4. MSI Mystic Lights software. We preinstall it, or you can download MSI Center off the Microsoft store. Set the style to 'off'.
    5. It's a custom built PC aside from BIOS customizations. Nothing specific.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
