powerspec g524 plugged in not displaying

I got a powerspec g524 and a fire legend monitor and the display is not getting brought up when I have them plugged into the HDMI ports. I have swapped HDMI ports and have it plugged into the HDMI port on the graphics card and it is still not displaying. Please help
