Front case fan stopped working after I installed some hard drives, G726

Hello all. I just bought the PowerSpec G726 yesterday and set it up today. Both front case fans and the RGB system worked at the beginning. Then, I installed some SSDs and a hard drive in the system which involved tugging on many cables. After finishing physically connecting the drives, the drives all work in Windows, but the front bottom fan doesn't spin anymore. The front top fan continues to work fine. I hear something similar to clicking sounds and I observe the bottom fan trying to move a tiny bit so it is attached to power, but cannot actually rotate.

My question is, are the fans and RGB system directly plugged into the motherboard at the bottom? Or do they plug into some fan controller board that connects to the motherboard? I unplugged and then plugged in what I thought were the (white) fan connectors back into the motherboard to see if they were loose, but that did not fix anything. However, if the fans and RGB system are plugged into some "thing" like a fan controller that plugs into the motherboard, then I need to reseat the connections of the fan/RGB into the "thing" that then connects to the motherboard. I don't think installing extra storage drives would disable the front bottom fan. Basically, do I have a bad fan or a loose connection?

Possibly related, does each of the front fans have two wires out, one for power and one for RGB control? With two fans, I only see three connections into the motherboard, shouldn't there be four (two for each fan)? Or am I missing something? I don't see any fan controller or anything like that in the system but it's quite cramped inside with 4 drives connected behind the motherboard.
