powerspec G729 bios update
trying to update the bios on the gigabyte gamer b850 wifi6 and it doesn't work in the control center and i downloaded the latest from gigabyte and it said oemid mismatch the drive was fat32 formatted and the file was extracted

I have the same issue - its due to OEM BIOS that MicroCenter uses for its pre-built PCs. See also:
BIOS update fail on Powerspec with Gigabyte B650M C V3 (rev. 1.0) mobo — Micro CenterI tried the above procedure, inserting the USB flash drive with the latest BIOS update file renamed from B850GAMINGWF6.F10 (in my case) to GIGABYTE.BIN. I then powered off the PC, then pressed the Q-Flash button on the back of the PC - it powers up briefly, but then powers back off. If I hold in the Q-Flash button, it just keeps repeating that pattern.
