My CPU fan is running about 4500RPM constantly from boot. I've tried changing it to silent in the BIOS, but no luck. Temp is 38-40C. PC is about 2 weeks old. There is no reason for this to be so loud. Any further idea on how to get this speed back down? FYI I tried Speedfan and I didn't see my fans. I tried MSIAfterburner also with no luck of actually controlling the fan manually. It sure didn't start out this way. Thanks!
Greetings. Have you tried resetting your BIOS settings to default in case something was changed by accident?
As soon as you hit the power button on the PC does the fan start to run at 100%?
