Return by mail for a product purchased in store.

Dear officer,
I was in the area of the micro center at VA recently and made some purchases and now I want to return one of the items (the CPU + motherboard combo)... I have not opened it.
is it possible to do a mail return as if I’d ordered online or do I have to drive back? It’s over three hours away so it would be great if I don’t. Thanks!
