Need guidance-best way for 13 y/o to learn to build gaming pc

I have no computer skill. Our son is very interested and motivated to build his own pc. He saved up over years and watched YouTube videos, now believing himself to be an expert. We doubt that this is enough education and guidance to successfully build a functioning gaming pc with parents who know nothing about it. We want to support him on this. Who knows what guidance, mentoring or classes are available in the area for this? Could he work with someone at microcenter to be successful?

Its not really that hard for even the newest person. Just a series of simple steps in a specific order. Its almost self intuitive and video can go further in such simple learning circumstances. Some can do it in under a half hour or even faster just with video help. Let him try, it is unlikely he will wreck anything and exchanges are possible. It will build his sense of accomplishment, confidence, and pride, at very little risk. Every time he looks at it, uses it, will be a joy beyond just having a cool PC, it will be his creation, alone.

    Good luck
