Yes, it's capable of reading Blu-Ray discs: BD-ROM (SL/DL)12x / 8x CAV

Now if you're trying to play a retail purchased move on it that's more of a question of having software that's capable of doing so. Generally when you purchase a retail drive, PowerDVD is included and will do so for you. If the drive is OEM (In a bag or generic box is generally the indicator here) this software is typically not included.

Alternatively, I'd like into VLC, but you will need the libbluray codec integrated.
