2021-12-26 at 11:00, I placed a $2492.49 order for a custom build PC for pick up from the OH - Mayfield Heights location. Expecting a confirmation email, I left my PC and the page expired. I did not receive an email. After logging back in, the order was not in my order history, but the charge was sent to my bank pending. As I was driving home from out of town for the holidays, I was able to stop by the store at 18:00 to ask about the order. The associates could not find the order in Micro Center's system. We resolved to wait until Tuesday when it could be discussed with Finance.
2021-12-27, the emails came through and the order (Build Order: 13939182; Purchase Order: 051-WP-9851824) appeared in the system. We attributed the delays to being a Sunday and the weekend of Christmas and discussed some aspects of the build. At the end, the total needed to be changed. The associate advised that the pending charge would be amended before posting.
2021-12-28, this morning, a new pending charge appeared for the amended total of $2335.91, but the original pending charge has not been withdrawn. Both pending charges are holding $5000 in funds.
I have use the website to send a message to my store as well as sent a message to the associate that has helped me so far, but have not heard back. This is rapidly becoming urgent as I have scheduled payments, including one today, that this is preventing me from being able to make. It needs to be corrected as soon as possible.
