Need help checking if all my parts are compatible and good for gaming

It’s my first time building a pc and wanted to check if my parts are good and compatible:

Motherboard(Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Xtreme)

CPU(Intel Core I7) 

Gpu(GTX 3060)

Ram(2x 8gb ddr4 Corsair vengeance lpx) 

Power Supply(EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 80+ GOLD)

HHD(WD Blue 1TB)

Case(NZXT H510i - CA-H510i-W1)

Fan(Thermaltake Pure 12 ARGB 5V)

You need to know which i7 you are going to choose, a 12th gen i7 12700k is going to beat the hell out of a 1st gen i7 870.

You will also need a motherboard, and a cpu cooler for your pc.

You might also want to use ssd(sata ssd or m2 nvme), a traditional hdd is going to lag like hell if acting as boot drive with windows 10/11 .
