Computer won't display thru gpu?

I just recently built a new computer with a Ryzen 5600G, Aorus B550 Elite V2, Evga 3060 12GB, and gskill ripjaws 16gb ddr4 ram. However, it doesn't display when I plug the hdmi into my gpu, only into the motherboard. The gpu isn't recognized in any form, and it won't even let me install drivers because it says there's no gpu in the pcie slot. I am frustrated because I feel like I've tried almost everything I can find on the internet. Any other suggestions?

Greetings, I would ensure your GPU is fully inserted into the PCI slot, and if necessary try each PCI-e slot on your motherboard. You would also want to ensure the extra power supply cables plugged into the top of the GPU are securely connected as well.
