Out of Range/HDMI No Signal

I purchased the PowerSpec G164 in April 2021. For the last 3 months, we have been getting the errors: Out of Range, HDMI No Signal. Sometimes we'll move the monitor closer to the desktop and it works. We got it working this morning for 5 min and it stopped. I confirmed that the issue is NOT the monitor. Please help....my son uses this for school. Thank you.

    Given the description it makes me think it's either the connection on the board for HDMI or the cable. You said you ruled out the monitor? You tested the monitor on another system and didn't see this issue?

    Please clarify on how you're getting it to work intermittently. You said you moved the monitor closer and it worked. Did you have to power the PC off and on, or was the PC on the entire time?
